Tax Appeals: Should Your Real Estate Taxes Be Challenged?

As real estate taxes skyrocket, many taxpayers have begun to look for ways to reduce their tax payments.  Because the amount of real estate tax that you pay is a function of your property value, it is essential that you file a tax appeal if you think the municipality has over-assessed your property.

§        Why have property taxes been increasing at an alarming rate?

§        When and why would a property be re-evaluated?

§        When and why should I challenge my tax assessment?

§        What is contained in a property description card?

§        What determines how a property is assessed?

Who is Michael Mirne?
